Make-Your-Own Before You Go Toilet Spray: Poo-Pourri Recipe

DIY “Before You Go” Poo‑Pourri No. 2 Toilet Spray

If you’ve followed One Essential Community for a while, you know I love a good essential oil room spray. Over the years I’ve shared many of my favorite blends for summer, fall, winter, and the holidays. But there’s one DIY I love even more: a homemade “Before You Go” No. 2 toilet spray—commonly called Poo‑Pourri.

Poo‑Pourri is simple and clever: you spray it onto the toilet water before you go number two. The oil-based mist forms a thin barrier on the water’s surface that traps odors inside the bowl so the bathroom air stays fresh. It’s discreet, effective, and easy to make at home.
