Classic snickerdoodle cookies with a Valentine’s Day twist. These soft, chewy cookies are rolled in a cinnamon-sugar mixture and finished with red sanding sugar for a festive look.
Classic Snickerdoodle Flavor
Snickerdoodles are known for their warm cinnamon flavor and tender texture. Decorating them with red, white, and pink sprinkles or red sanding sugar makes them perfect for a Valentine’s Day treat or edible gift.

Valentine’s Snickerdoodle Cookies
This recipe follows the traditional snickerdoodle method but adds a festive coating. The cinnamon flavor is subtle and comforting, while the centers remain soft and chewy. The recipe yields about three dozen cookies, making it ideal for sharing with friends, family, or a special someone.

Great Cookie Gifts
These Valentine’s snickerdoodles are easy to shape and decorate. For uniform cookies, pinch off 1-inch pieces of dough, roll them into balls, and coat them in the cinnamon-sugar and sanding sugar mixture. Bake until the edges are lightly browned and the centers are still soft. A light extra sprinkle of sanding sugar after baking adds a pretty finishing touch.
